The lower or right hand section (depending on view chosen, see folders) of the Resources page is dedicated to the control and organisation of the resources you choose to upload or add.  These may include files, (a list of acceptable file extensions can be found here), custom pages,  forums, tasks that have been or can be assigned to groups, and online surveys.


The panel will contain the following buttons.


Selects all resources in the current folder.


Adds a new File in the currently selected folder.


Add Files using Zip Bulk upload in the currently selected folder. 


Add Sound Clip in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new custom page in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new task in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new survey in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new quiz in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new wiki  in the currently selected folder.


Adds a new forum in the currently selected folder.


Adds a SCORM package in the currently selected folder


Adds a new link / RSS news feed to the currently selected group.


Adds a new enhanced survey in the currently selected folder


Re-order the resources


Change the access restriction for the currently selected resources


Deletes the selected resources (deleted resources are moved to a recycle bin).


Copy the selected resources to another group or folder.


Move the selected resources to another group or folder.


Import a group of exported resources (a .urf file extension is required).


Export the selected resources in a bundle as a .urf file extension.


Any resource with a next to it in the resources page can be tagged so that it can be made searchable if required.




The resources will have the following icons to show their security levels  and further information.



Indicates the current visibility restriction of the resource.


Indicates if there any group membership type restrictions have been selected.


Indicates if the Group Editors security restriction has been selected.


Indicates if any profile set restrictions have been selected.


This icon indicates that there are currently no date restrictions preventing this resource from being seen.


Edit the details of the selected resource.


Delete the selected resource (deleted resources are moved to a recycle bin).


Drop box:        Move Up - to move the resource up

               Move Down - to move the resource down

               Move Top - to move the resource to the top of the list

               Move Last - to move the resource to the bottom of the list

               Audit - to view an audit trail of the resource
