Every subgroup has its own homepage.


Editing a homepage

    1. Go to the desired group and Click on Homepage in the Group Admin section of the Control Panel
    2. Select the page layout by clicking in the circle
    3. Place a tick in the check boxes if you would like calendar events and news items to be displayed. 
    4. Edit content in the 2 WYSIWYG boxes (Text 1 and Text 2).
    5. Browse and upload a JPEG photo
    6. Select the size of the photo
    7. Type in text that you would like to appear when you hover your mouse cursor over the picture
    8. If you would like to remove the homepage picture, tick the box.
    9. If you would like a list of all the subgroups in the current group, displayed as links on the homepage, tick the box.
    10. Click the 'update group homepage' button.



It is possible to view a homepage audit of the users who have visited the homepage, and also the users who have edited the homepage. To view the audit, click on this icon in the top right hand corner.


You can restore the homepage back to the previous version you saved, by clicking on the restore homepage button. This will only work for the last homepage you saved, it will not restore back to versions before this.


Embedded Files (Images/Sound)

When the insert picture tool is used in the WYSIWYG editor, or the add sound recorder item (if enabled), the file will be uploaded as an  attribute in to the embedded files (images/sound) section underneath the WYSIWYG editor area, they will no longer be uploaded in to the autoupload folder with in resources.
