The 'Background' page is used for defining the colour of the background behind your group content.

To change the background:

1. Click on panel colours, in the Group Admin Section of the Control Panel
2. Select from the colour palate which colour you would like for the background by clicking on the colour. Alternatively enter the colour number into the box.
3. Instead of a colour, you can choose to have a background image. To upload an image click the browse button.
4. To delete a previously attached image, tick the delete image box.
5. Choose whether you would like your image to tile vertically or horizontally. Placing a tick in both boxes will tile the selected image across the entire background.
6. Tick the box if you would like to force subgroups to use the same background. When ticked, sub-group owners/editors cannot edit the background and the 'Background' link is removed from the control panel when you are viewing any group below this level. If you do not tick the box, it allows the sub-groups to determine their own background.
7. Click the 'submit' button.
