Hey welcome to the Children in Care Council space. This is where you are going to be able to find out what the council does, how we do it, why we do it and most importantly who we are.

We try to find ways to make significant changes to make things better for children in care in Medway. Some of the things we have already be able to change are the letters that careers are allowed to sign for schools this is the letters that mean that you can be given medication in an emergency. Also we have been able to simplify the process for getting a passport to leisure card and extended the time in which you are able to use it. |
| We do this by meeting with senior managers within social services, this is because we are taking the problems right to the top in the hope it will help in the long run, our successes has proven to us that this is the correct thing to do. |

Well you might have to ask each member their individual reasons behind being on the council but on the most part its because we want to help young people in the care system as much as we can. |
