Our Turtle target is:
To find all the resources we need for a job independently.
In maths we are:
- comparing items by length, height
- ordering a selection of items by length, height
- measuring items using non-standard units such as: cubes, hands, feet
- sequencing events in the day
- ordering days of the week
- recognising odd and even numbers
-counting in 2s, 5s, 10s
Please look in book bags for our new maths challenges. These are fun ideas for you to play at home. There will be a new challenge every week.
In phonics we are:
- Revising the following letters and sounds:
j, v, w, x, y, z, zz, qu, ch, ng, sh, th, ee, ai, igh, oa, oo, or, er, ar, ur, ow, oi, ear, air, ure
- Learning to read the tricky words: they,all, are, her, you, was, he, she, we, be, me, my, I, no, go, the, to, into
Please refer to the 'English' section on the left to help with the correct pronunciation of sounds.
In Literacy we are:
-reading and writing different versions of familiar stories
- writing letters and signs
