Mr. S. Barnes is Head of the History department which includes teachers Mrs. J. Baskerville and Miss C. Phelps
The department is well resourced, with a variety of textbooks, visual aids, videos and a digital camera.

During Year 7, pupils have the opportunity to visit the Weald and Dowland open Air Museum near Chichester, which gives them a tase of Medieval and Tudor life.

During Year 9, pupils have the opportunity to visit the Battlefields of France and Belgium.

During Key Stage 4, textbooks are provded for both school and home use
