Stoke Park Infant School

Stoke Park Infant School > Parents
Partnership with Parents.

We want your child to be happy, confident and ready to learn from the exciting opportunites on offer at Stoke Park.  We believe the partnership between home and school is vital in enabling your child to develop, progress and achieve during his or her time here with us.

We offer regular termly parent/teacher interviews where you can look at your child's work and discuss progress with staff.  If you have concerns at any other times, you are welcome to talk to the classteacher at the end of the day, or make an appointment.  If your child has special educational needs and has an indivdual plan (IEP) then you will be offered an opportunity to share the plan and find out about support in school and what you can do at home to help.  You are welcome to meet with Mrs Morgan-Jones, SEN Coordinator, if you have any concerns about your child's needs.

Triple P

Being a parent today can be a very tough job. We recognise this and are keen to support you when we can.  Each Autumn and Spring term, we offer an eight week parenting course known as Triple P (Positive Parenting Programme).  This course is informal and suitable for all parents with children aged 2-12yrs.  It is run by Mrs Morgan-Jones and children's centre staff.  There is NO CHARGE for the course and we offer a FREE CRECHE.

The next Triple P course starts in October 2013. Let us know if you would like us to keep you a place.  If you would like information about Triple P courses taking place elsewhere before then, click on the link below or give Mrs Morgan-Jones a call and she can find the information for you.
