Redwood Park has an agreement with the Connexions Southern Careers which is reviewed annually in the summer term. The Careers Service provides a specialist Careers Officer, who visits the school to;

	Initiate the Year 9 transition plan and hold a brief careers interview.
	Discuss both as a group and individually, all aspects of the Post 16 world with Year 10 pupils.
	Take part in the Year 11 Careers Convention.
	Interview individual Year 11 pupils in the presence of their parents, to determine the appropriate Post 16 procedure.

A vital element of the course is the pupils' participation in a Work Experience placement during Year 11.
